Capella Polifònica de Girona

The Girona Polyphonic Choir will fill the Cloister of the monastery of flowers with their voices and those of La Jove, the new formation of the Girona choral family that debuts with this concert.

The Girona Polyphonic Choir and the prestigious baritone Josep Cabré, a specialist in early Iberian music, will open the concert with sacred music. This intervention will serve as a presentation of La Jove of the Girona Polyphonic Choir who will offer us Un pomell de cançons, a program with songs of all times and from around the world inspired by flowers and spring. The songs will alternate with the reading of evocative poems also with floral themes written by Caterina Torra, who was abbess of the monastery of Sant Daniel.
